Email is best

The address for everything to do with this site is hello@cozycalcs.com. It reaches one person, and it is the only channel that is certain to arrive.

If a calculator looks wrong

This is the most useful message the site can get, so please send it rather than closing the tab. To make it quick to check, include:

• Which calculator, and which period or setting you were using.
• The numbers you typed in — the actual figures, not a summary of them.
• What you expected and what you got instead.
• If it looks like a display problem rather than a number, the device and browser.

Every page shows its working and lists its assumptions, which is often where the difference turns out to be — but a wrong figure is a real bug, and it gets fixed.

Social

If your message is short and you do not mind it being public, a message on Instagram or TikTok works too. That is also where new calculators get announced.

What can I help with?

• A number that does not look right, or a calculation that will not do what you expect.
• A mistake in the wording, the assumptions or the maths.
• A calculator you wish existed — suggestions are genuinely welcome, and often become the next page.
• Anything that does not work with a keyboard, a screen reader or a small screen.
• Questions about privacy, these pages, or how something is built.

What I cannot do

Give financial, tax, legal or credit advice, recommend a lender or a fund, or work out your individual situation — that is what a licensed adviser is for, and no calculator can take their place. Nor can I recover a Budget that has been lost: it never left your device, so there is nothing here to restore it from. Use Back up my data to keep your own copy.

Why there is no contact form

A form has to send what you write somewhere, and that means a server collecting messages — which is exactly what this site is built not to have. Everything here runs in your browser and stores nothing about you (the privacy policy is short for the same reason). Email does the same job without the site holding a single word anyone types.

How long a reply takes

Usually within a few days. This is a small site rather than a company, so if a reply takes a week, it is not because nobody cared.
